Balancing Estate Planning with Living in the Now

A Life Worth Living

We encourage our clients to focus on living their legacies. Forming trusts, and nominating guardians and powers of attorney are responsible ways of planning for unforeseen emergencies. Yet, our plans for the future shouldn’t come at the expense of living in the present. We dedicate so much of our energy to securing happiness in the future, that we sometimes forget to find joy in the now. We encourage clients to find something they are passionate about and make that a part of their short-term plans. Maybe there’s an organization focused on bringing about change that you’re passionate about. Maybe there’s a hobby you’d like to turn into something more. Maybe you have a creative project you want to share with the world. Whatever it is, try to make time for things that matter now. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, make it a good one!
